About the Bible

We believe that the Bible is the inerrant, inspired, Word of God. It is the standard for all that we believe and practice. Furthermore we affirm the Inerrancy, Authority, Sufficiency & Clarity of Scripture. Inerrancy means that the Bible is wholly and verbally God-given, Scripture is inerrant- without error or fault in all its teaching, no less in what it states about Gods acts in creation, about the events of world history, and about its own literary origins under God, than in its witness to Gods saving grace in individual lives.

Holy Scripture, being Gods own Word, written by men prepared and superintended by His Spirit, is of infallible divine authority in all matters upon which it touches: it is to be believed, as Gods instruction, in all that it affirms, obeyed, as Gods command, in all that it requires; embraced, as Gods pledge, in all that it promises. Sufficiency means that it is completely adequate for all we need for life and godliness. Clarity means that the Word of God is revealed in an understandable way to all who read it with an open heart to God. The central message is clear, therefore making everyone accountable to God who is the author of His Word.
